Hotel owners are concerned about what will happen to Ukrainian refugees after 31 October

Hotel owners in the seaside resort of Sunny Beach are ready for protests as there is no clarity on whether the humanitarian programme to accommodate Ukrainian refugees will be extended beyond 31 October. Krassimir Beloreshki's hotel accommodates 800 people, mostly mothers with children. There are between 10 500 and 11 000 Ukrainian refugees in the region.

According to the hoteliers, if the programme continues, the amount for accommodation and food, which is 15 BGN (7.67 euros) per day, will have to be increased because of heating costs.
