The interim government has approved BGN 6.7 mln (EUR 3.4 mln) in humanitarian aid for hoteliers accommodating Ukrainian refugees.
The approved funding will allow payments for a total of 300 applications from hotel owners who have provided humanitarian aid to Ukrainian people in the form of accommodation of over 507,519 overnights and food for September.
The Cabinet also allocated nearly BGN 1.6 million (EUR 818 thousand) for free free train rides for Ukrainian citizens under temporary protection to their designated places of residence.
