"Spiritual Bridges" – Balkan Chamber Music Festival

On November 10, the second edition of the "Spiritual Bridges" festival is held in the Palace of Culture in Pernik, where works by composers from six Balkan countries will be presented.

Quintet for flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano by Mehmet Nemutlu from Turkey will be premiered on the stage in Pernik. The program also includes the piece "Suburb" for piano and four hands by Croatian Sanja Drakulić, as well as Trio for violin, clarinet and piano by Žarko Mirković – Montenegro and Trio for clarinet, cello and piano by Nikos Drelas - Greece. Among the performers are Sara Panosyan - violin, Rosen Idealov - clarinet, Georgita Boyadzhieva - cello, Ivan Kerekovski - piano, Martin Pavlov – flute, as well as piano duo Shtereva-Simeonova. The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra from Pernik will perform "Antique Dance" for string orchestra by the Albanian composer Vasil Tole conducted by Thanas Çaçi, who is also from Albania. Tsenko Minkin's work for string orchestra, dedicated to the Bulgarian classicist Petko Stainov, will be performed under the conductor's baton of Raicho Hristov.

Organizers are the Union of Bulgarian Composers and the Municipality of Pernik.
