Bulgaria reports 5 Covid-related deaths in past day

210 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,157 tests performed, 187 down on the previous day. 5.05% of the tests returned positive result, data of coronavirus.bg show. More than 71.4% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated. The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased by 94 to 7,147.

60 people have been hospitalized in the past day. 42 of them, or 70% were not inoculated against Covid-19. 459 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 48 are in intensive care units. 

5 Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past 24 hours. 299 people have been reported cured.

739 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday.
