A new research and development center of a leading company in the automotive industry has opened doors in Sofia. The initial investment totals 3.5 million dollars and by the end of 2023 the number of employed engineers will reach 100.

The Bulgarian head of state pointed out the significant contribution of the center of the Japanese company to the development of the automotive industry in this country, which is constantly growing and already forms 12% of GDP. According to President Radev, Japan is a key partner in trade and economic relations and deepening cooperation in the field of high technologies outlines a new model of relations between business, institutions and society.
