The nominee of We Continue the Change for Prime Minister, Acad. Nikolai Denkov, invited the parliamentary groups to a meeting in an effort to bring the parties' positions on their national priorities closer together. All of the groups, except for Vazrazhdane, responded.

GERB-UDF said they would not support a government with the participation of the co-chairs of We Continue the Change, Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms raised the question of the arrests under former Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov, declared illegal by the court, and asked whether Kiril Petkov had Bulgarian citizenship when he was prime minister. Both political forces left the meeting early.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party representatives described as "embarrassing" the proposal to revise the Electoral Code, the MPs from Democratic Bulgaria saw a chance to form a cabinet and suggested uniting around a political declaration with priorities, while the MPs from Bulgarian Rise voiced their position that a formula must be sought for forming a government.

After the talks, Nikolai Denkov commented that the chance for a new cabinet is not great, but it still exists.
