Bulgarians have always been among the most significant contributors to the country’s tourism. In 2022, we have also registered an increase in the number of tourists from traditional markets, caretaker Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov said for Nova TV. Bookings from Israel have increased with 15% as compared to 2021. Holiday bookings from the United Kingdom saw a 12% increase. Bookings from Romania and Greece increased respectively with 10% and 5%.
