Bulgaria reports 191 new coronavirus infections , 2 Covid-related deaths in past day

191 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 3,866 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 5%, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. 64% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-55, Burgas-21 and Varna-16.

405 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 35 are in intensive care units.  2 Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day. 175 patients have been reported cured. The number of active cases has increased to 3,940. 238 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday. 2,074,923 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
