Bulgaria reports 1 Covid-related death in past day, no recoveries

36 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 730 tests performed in the country in the past day, 10 down from the previous day. More than 80.5% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The positivity rate is close to 5%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active cases has gone up by 35 to 3,792. Nine patients have been admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours. The number of people being treated in hospital is up by 4 to 358, of them 48 are in intensive care.

One person with established coronavirus infection has died in the past day, they were not vaccinated. No recoveries have been reported in the past day.

One dose of vaccine against Covid-19 has been administered in the past 24 hours.
