Re-registration of Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria underway

The re-registration has begun of the refugees coming from Ukraine who have received temporary protection status in Bulgaria which has been extended until 3 April, 2024. The old registration cards are valid until 31 March. During this period the Ukrainian citizens must submit an application for renewal of their registration cards with a current address of residence.

The re-registration can be done at the Interior Ministry regional departments and at the registration and reception centres of the State Agency for Refugees in Sofia, Banya village, Harmanli and Pustrogor village.

Additional information can be obtained at the centres and from the hotlines published on the Bulgaria for Ukraine platform and UNHCR Bulgaria - Help for refugees and asylum-seekers.
