According to the UN, 17,619 of the victims (6,372 dead and 11,247 wounded) were on the territory controlled by Ukraine.
In the period from March 1 to 12th, the UN has identified 84 new cases of dead Ukrainian civilians and 209 wounded. The organization points out that the real number of civilian casualties is significantly higher because data from the places of heavy fighting is delayed.
