Bulgaria registers 79 new coronavirus cases for a day and three Covid-related deaths

In the past day, 79 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Bulgaria after 2,211 tests performed, according to official data. 3.6% of the samples tested positive. 62% of the newly infected were non-vaccinated citizens.

Most of the new cases are in Sofia - 24, followed by Varna - 11, and Sofia-region and Shumen - 6 each. There are 259 patients in hospital as 29 of them are in intensive care. 63% of the newly admitted 27 patients are non-vaccinated people. There were three Covid-related deaths and 240 recoveries.

The total number of active coronavirus cases is 2,852. Yesterday, 107 vaccine doses were administered. There are 2,076,362 people with completed immunization.
