On Thursday and Friday, European leaders meet in Brussels to discuss the war in Ukraine and the provision of the necessary military aid to Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will participate remotely at the start of the meeting. President of the European Council, Charles Michel, recalls that the goal is for the EU to provide Ukraine with 1 million 155 mm projectiles within a year.

Ukraine has not rejected the idea of talks with Russia, "but negotiations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are impossible." This is what Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, told Politico. "Putin has ignored everything; all he wants is more war, more Ukrainian children stolen, more Ukrainians murdered and more Ukrainian land taken,” Minister Kuleba said.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that all countries that are members of the International Criminal Court (ICC) should arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin if he visited them, CNN reported

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, warned that the nuclear safety of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia NPP is not reliably guaranteed, AFP reported. The plant's last external power line, damaged since March 1, remains under repair. This line allows for guaranteeing the plant’s nuclear safety and can be crucial in case the reactors need to be cooled down. Currently, the plant relies on emergency diesel generators.

"Each time we are rolling a dice. And if we allow this to continue time after time then one day our luck will run out," Grossi told the IAEA Board of Governors. High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell also said that this is a serious breach of nuclear safety.
