Ukrainian children are successfully adapting to life in Bulgaria

In the educational center of the "Dobro" foundation in the village of Sveti Vlas on the Black Sea coast, over a thousand Ukrainian children aged 3 to 18 receive not only psychological support, but also successfully integrate, study, play sports and create.

Ten teachers work with the children, teaching them the Bulgarian language, history and traditions. Children also learn other foreign languages, as well as graphic design and several sports.

For each age group, there is a separate program that psychologists work on - art therapy for the little ones, group activities for middle-aged children.

The "Children and War" program has been tested all over the world and teaches children to cope with stress in new conditions.

Most of the children did not leave their rooms at first after their arrival in Bulgaria but thanks to the programs they are now socialized. New children arrive every day and the expansion of the project, together with UNICEF, is about to happen.
