Premier Donev urges Bulgarians to vote

The caretaker cabinet has made a tremendous effort to ensure that the forthcoming elections are free, fair and well-organised, despite the ambiguities and the weaknesses of the amendments to the electoral code voted swiftly by the previous parliament, caretaker Premier Galab Donev said before the start of the government meeting.

"The voter fatigue after the frequent elections in the past few years does not change the important fact that voting is an expression of a fundamental political right. No matter what they try to intimidate you with - the voting machines, the video surveillance or the bomb threats by email - it is not scary to vote. It would be scary to miss the opportunity to elect decent people to represent us. "Even if you don't vote, you still have a share in the final result. Don’t sell you vote”, Premier Donev said.
