The exhibition "Luxury and Power: From Persia to Greece" has opened in the British Museum. The Panagyurishte Treasure from Bulgaria occupies a central place among the displayed artifacts.

The Vice President of Bulgaria Iliana Iotova and the Minister of Culture Nayden Todorov were the first official guests at the exhibition. They were accompanied by the Bulgarian ambassador Marin Raykov. The impressive exhibition traces the links between wealth and power in antiquity. During the opening, Vice President Iotova thanked the director of the museum, Dr. Hartwig Fischer, for the event and added that the exhibition is important because it shows history is written not by battles, but by culture.
