With a performance of the opera "Samson and Delilah" to the music of French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, the Burgas Music Festival "Emil Tchakarov" 2023 will be officially opened on June 6 at 8:30 p.m. on the stage of the Summer Theater – Burgas.
The sixteenth edition of the festival, named after the famous Bulgarian conductor Emil Tchakarov, includes popular operas, an international ballet competition, evergreen songs from the Golden Orpheus international song contest, music from classical French cinema, children's performances, etc. The festivities will end on August 30 with the concert "Symphony Melody Rock" by the orchestra of the State Opera - Burgas and Sofia Jazz Formation.
