Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Mariya Gabriel, has paid a working visit to Ankara, where she met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan.
This has been the first official visit to Turkey by a foreign minister from the region since Fidan took office. The meeting focused on topics such as trade and economy, defense and security, energy diversification, transport and infrastructure, regional issues, fight against illegal migration, innovation and investment.
