Tourism services underpin the return of monthly inflation in July. This is indicated by an analysis by the Ministry of Finance published this week. In July, compared to June, the consumer price index was 0.9% after two consecutive months of deflation.

According to the analysis, package tourism services, short-term accommodation and passenger travel are the basis of the increase in the consumer price index in July compared to June, which is traditional for the summer season.

According to data from the National Statistical Institute, restaurant services and entertainment also seriously support the general rise of the index. On an annual basis, it is 8.5%, which continues the downward trend.
