There are no plans yet for a leadership meeting between the "We Will Continue - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) and GERB-SDS after the local elections, PP-DB co-leader Kiril Petkov said. "The Bulgarian government will inevitably have to hold talks," Mr Petkov said.

Earlier today, the Prime Minister also indicated that a leadership meeting would have to be scheduled. "We have to move on. The elections are over. We must put an end to the pre-election criticism, threats and comments and move on," Nikolai Denkov urged.

The prime minister said that he hoped there would be a rotation in the prime minister's office, as agreed, because the cabinet had a programme to implement.

GERB leader Boyko Borissov announced last week that his party would discuss at a national council meeting on Wednesday whether to extend its support for the government.
