Code orange for stormy winds and precipitation was declared in seven regions in the northern and eastern parts of the country- Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Varna, Burgas, Yambol and Sliven.

In the mountainous areas there is a danger of the formation of snowdrifts. Strong and stormy winds are expected in some areas in northern and western Bulgaria.
