Ministry of the Interior takes strict security measures over the holidays

The Ministry of the Interior is taking a number of measures to ensure order and peace for citizens on the eve of and during the holidays. Gendarmerie, special operations and anti-terrorism teams will patrol the premises of large shopping centres, Christmas markets, central city districts, railway and bus stations and smaller settlements. Some of the teams will have long-barrelled weapons and service dogs, the Interior Ministry said.
