An exhibition of 60 photos with the most memorable moments of Bulgarian and international sports from recent years will be arranged from May 10 to 21 in an open-air gallery on "Lovers’ Bridge" next to the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. Photographer Lyubomir Assenov's shots are is from the Tokyo Olympics, the 2023 European Olympic Games in Krakow, the Ryder Cup, as well as from individual participations of athletes at major international forums.
Among the Bulgarian athletes photographed by the artist are the "golden" rhythmic gymnastics ensemble of Bulgaria, consisting of: Simona Dyankova, Stefani Kiryakova, Madeleine Radukanova, Laura Traats and Erika Zafirova; the Olympic champion in karate Ivet Goranova and the Olympic champion in boxing Stoika Krasteva, the best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov and others.
Lyubomir Asesnov has been a professional photographer since 2006, who has photographed over 148 competitions.
