Rapid weather deterioration expected in the mountains in the afternoon

A rapid deterioration of the weather is expected in the mountains in the afternoon, the Mountain Rescue Service warns. The advice to hikers is to be ready to descend from high areas in the early afternoon. 

At the moment, the conditions for hiking are good, the weather is cloudy with light winds. Temperatures range between 1 and 8 degrees. Celsius.

There have been several incidents over the past day. Mountain rescuers have helped an injured motorcyclist and a cyclist, as well as two mothers with children lost in the mountains.
