Weather forecast for 4 July

Rain to move off, except for brief local showers in the south

On Thursday, clouds will break over the country. After midday there will be short showers with thunderstorms in the Rila-Rhodope area. Minimum temperatures will be between 15 and 23°C, 15°C in Sofia. Maximum temperatures will be between 25 and 30°C, 25°C in the capital.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be scattered clouds. In the afternoon, the clouds will thicken in the south, where it may rain.  Air temperatures will reach 27-30°C. Water temperatures will be 25-26°C. Sea swell will be 2.

There will be patchy clouds over the mountains, changing to cumulus in the afternoon, with short showers in the Rilo-Rhodope area. Maximum temperatures will reach 20°C at 1,200 m and 14°C at 2,000 m.

On Friday, most of the country will be sunny. Rain is expected only in the east over the Strandzha-Sakar region.
