No government likely with PP-DB mandate, MP Lena Borislavova says

Upon entering Parliament, Lena Borislavova of the PP-DB commented on Delyan Peevski's indication that he would expel the rogue DPS MPs as his move to make the DPS a third political force. Yesterday, 30 DPS deputies supported the GERB-SDS proposal for a cabinet with Rosen Zhelyazkov as prime minister, but 14 were against and 1 abstained.

"Delyan Peevski has no better move at the moment than to make us (PP-DB) a second political force, because as such he has already shown that he has nothing to offer," Borislavova said at the entrance to Parliament.

Borislavova also pointed out that the PP-DB, with 39 MPs in this National Assembly, does not have the legitimacy given to it by the Bulgarian citizens to set the course. For this reason, she does not expect to be able to form a government with a second mandate if it goes to the PP-DB
