The caretaker cabinet with PM Grancharova-Kozhareva could be sworn in at an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly on Tuesday, Yordan Tsonev who is chairing the parliamentary sitting stated: “There will probably be an extraordinary sitting on Tuesday, 20 August, for the new caretaker cabinet to be sworn in, if the president issues a decree for that,” he said. As of 16 August, the 50th National Assembly is in summer recess. The next regular sitting is scheduled for 4 September. For the snap election for parliament to be held on 20 October, the new caretaker cabinet has to be sworn in at the National Assembly no later than 20 August.
