The two experts are in Bulgaria to participate in the international conference "Transnational Investments in a Changing World: Sanctions, Screening and Dispute Resolution", organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Sarafov pointed out the need to increase the capacity of Bulgarian institutions in the fight against cross-border crime. In this regard, the possibility of American experts conducting training for Bulgarian magistrates and representatives of special services on the mechanisms for tracking financial assets, anti-corruption, the imposition of sanctions, the prevention of money laundering and the implementation of screening of foreign investments was discussed.
