The PP-DB coalition will send a letter to the GERB party calling for support for the adoption of 3 anti-corruption laws in the outgoing parliament, PP co-chairman Kiril Petkov announced. The formation places support for these laws as a condition for future joint governance with GERB after the elections. The adoption of the laws will unblock billions from the EU under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, the PP says.
"We have repeatedly expressed our arguments against the hasty legislation proposed by the PP," GERB replied. "A recent example of this is the changes to the Constitution, which created more problems than solutions. We note that the PP has campaign for destroying all opportunities for talks about a regular government and political stability," the response reads.
