A fire broke out in the Varna office of a party which was represented in the last National Assembly and which is contesting the forthcoming elections on 27 October. The premises, located in a building in the centre of the city, were completely burnt down.

The incident was reported in the early hours of the morning after an incendiary device - most likely a Molotov cocktail - was thrown into the office. No one was injured, according to the fire brigade, whose teams responded immediately and extinguished the fire.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
