The five largest Indian IT companies already have offices in Bulgaria

Bulgaria and India will intensify their cooperation in various sectors of mutual interest. This was discussed at a meeting of the Bulgarian Minister of Economy Petko Nikolov with Ambassador of India to Bulgaria H.E. Sanjay Rana. The two focused on the IT sector and the field of services as the most important areas of cooperation. It was pointed out that the five largest Indian IT companies have already opened offices in Bulgaria.

In recent years there has been significant interest from Indian companies for investments in Bulgaria in sectors such as agriculture, defense, pharmaceutical industry, engineering, clinical research, tourism. In order to activate the bilateral cooperation, holding a meeting of Bulgarian-Indian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation is planned in the beginning of 2025.
