Leadership of Interior Ministry Sofia to be dismissed over blunder

The leadership of Interior Ministry Sofia will be dismissed over blunder in the case with the search of the prisoner with a long criminal record Vladimir Pelov who escaped from Sofia Prison on 3 April.

Interior Minister Valentin Radev has issued an order to that effect. Fugitive Vladimir Pelov went in hiding and was shot dead on 5 June in Botevgrad, Sofia province, by a person with a criminal record before the police could find him.
