In an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova has confirmed that the number of illegal migrants detained on Bulgarian territory has decreased by 30% compared to last year. In fact, the so-called "Balkan route" is closed and there is now redirecting of a refugee wave to the south. But although currently there are no direct risks, Bulgarian authorities monitor the situation and are ready to change the organization of border security.
