In an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova has confirmed that the number of illegal migrants detained on Bulgarian territory has decreased by 30% compared to last year. Sofia has bilateral agreements with Ankara on migration and the minister expects that a possible refusal of Turkey to comply with its joint EU declaration would not affect them, and the new Turkish government would continue the current policy on refugees.
