Mothers of children with disabilities and “The System Kills Us" Initiative have once again protested in front of the government building in Sofia, calling for the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Valeriy Simeonov.

The reason for the protest actions was the Deputy Prime Minister's words that the Disability Act was started as an attempt to please a "group of screaming women who speculate with the condition of their children." The National Children's Network, which brings together nearly 150 organizations and supports the work of 8 large agencies and ministries, has announced it stops its support for the government because Simeonov is in office. Earlier, Valery Simeonov himself said he saw no reason to resign.
