The tents will be back where they were, and they will be put up in more locations! The fear those who wield power have of the free citizen protest will not succeed,” said PR expert Arman Babikyan, one of the organizers of the anti-government protests from the so-called “toxic trio”, who was briefly detained by police in the early hours of this morning. He called on citizens to join the large-scale anti-government protest planned for 8 PM tonight.

On their part the Sofia Metropolitan Police Directorate stated that the police had shown a sufficient degree of tolerance towards the protesters and that they would no longer allow the blocking of any intersections.

“We shall ensure every citizen’s right to move freely,” said Commissioner Tony Todorov, deputy head of the security police department of the Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior, as quoted by BNR’s reporters.

"The most important thing is not to have any violence," said President Rumen Radev for BNR's reporter Juliana Kornazheva, regarding tonight's protests.
