The government has given permission to the Bulgarian Energy Holding to start talks with US companies that develop technologies in the field of nuclear energy, including technologies related to the so-called small modular reactor.
The aim is to study the possibilities for the construction of a new nuclear power plant on the already approved site of Kozloduy NPP.
