Consultations held over preparation for summer tourist season

At a meeting with the tourism industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova said that employees in the sphere of tourism should be given priority in the National Vaccination Plan due to the expected restart of tourism, as well as sales of tourist packages, which have already started.

The Minister of Tourism also asked the concessionaires of beaches to reduce the prices of umbrellas and sunbeds for Summer 2021, BTA has reported.

The tourism industry reported that bookings for Easter have already started and added they wanted to have more clarity about travel opportunities during the holidays.
