EU is currently not negotiating purchase of Sputnik V

Currently, there are not negotiations underway over purchasing doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine at EU level. This was what the European Commission told correspondent of the Bulgarian National Radio in Brussels, Angelina Piskova.

Earlier, Reuters reported that Member States were considering negotiations with the manufacturer of Sputnik V.

On March 4, the European Medicines Agency launched an assessment of the Russian vaccine for access to the European market.
