EU citizens can enter Greece with negative antigen test

Starting today, June 19, all citizens entering Greece who arrive from the so-called green zone, including Bulgaria (https://reopen.europa.eu/en), regardless of the mode of transportation, will be allowed to enter with a paper document showing a negative result from a rapid Covid-19 antigen test, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported.

The regime has also been eased for children. The requirements for presenting PCR certificates, a rapid test result or a certificate of overcome illness will now apply to those who have reached the age of 12. Previously this age was 6.

All drivers of heavy trucks, regardless of their nationality, who arrive in Greece from Italy, are required to submit a declaration at the border with a negative result from a self -test.
