Weather forecast for Thursday, 16 September

On Thursday the weather will be sunny. There will be a temporary increase of cloud in the afternoon but no precipitation. Maximum temperatures 27° - 32° C., for Sofia 28° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be sun with clouds in the afternoon but no precipitation. Daytime temperatures will reach 25° C. to the North of Cape Shabla and 27° C. in Varna. Temperature of the seawater 22°-23° C., sea state 2.

Over the mountains the weather will continue sunny in the morning. In the afternoon clouds will gather but rain is not in the forecast. There will be a moderate, in the higher and open parts of the mountains to strong North-Northwesterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 22° C, at 2,000 m. 15° C. In the resorts of Borovets and Bansko temperatures will reach 21° C., in Bansko 25° C.

On Friday a Southwesterly wind will push temperatures up by a degree or two, but clouds will gather from the West, and in Southwestern Bulgaria there will be rain.
