This was requested by the chairwoman of Bulgaria's National Board of Tourism Polina Karastoyanova after a meeting with the Prime Minister and caretaker ministers. The government and the industry have given themselves 10 days to clarify a number of controversial topics, such as state support for the sector and the regime for entering restaurants.

Tourism Minister Stella Baltova said "the country has an interest in remaining a "green" destination, and the requirement is to achieve a level of vaccination that will allow foreign tourists to want to visit Bulgaria," Baltova added.
