We insist with anti-Covid tests should be required to enter not only restaurants and tourist sites, but also telecoms, banks and retail outlets, which are no less risky. This was requested by the chairwoman of Bulgaria's National Board of Tourism Polina Karastoyanova after a meeting with the Prime Minister and caretaker ministers. The government and the industry have given themselves 10 days to clarify a number of controversial topics, such as state support for the sector and the regime for entering restaurants.

Tourism Minister Stella Baltova said "the country has an interest in remaining a "green" destination, and the requirement is to achieve a level of vaccination that will allow foreign tourists to want to visit Bulgaria," Baltova added.
