Planned operations in Plovdiv district suspended

In the Plovdiv region, the planned operations and hospital admissions will be suspended after the 14-day morbidity of 769 per 100 thousand population was reported. This was announced by the Regional Health Inspectorate after a meeting of the regional crisis headquarters. An exception is made for the reception of cases such as those of cancer patients and women in labour.
The purpose of the measure is to provide a resource of doctors and nurses to support the workers in the Covid areas in the medical establishments, the RHI emphasized.
