Foreign Minister: Bulgaria has not requested enhanced NATO presence on its territory

At this stage, our country has not requested an increase in NATO's presence on its territory, Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska told Bulgarian journalists in Brussels. According to her, the commander of the NATO forces is about to present measures in this direction. The Minister stressed that before any action on this issue, a discussion and decision of the Council of Ministers is envisaged. 

Teodora Genchovska defined as inadmissible the attack against the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. Bulgaria supports the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, she added.
