Number of Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria goes above 33,000, one third of them are children

Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, 69,735 people from Ukraine have arrived in Bulgaria, of which 33,516 have remained in Bulgaria, as one third of them are children
This was announced at the first briefing in the Council of Ministers of the Task Force which plans and organizes the actions of state institutions for the evacuation and accommodation of those arriving in Bulgaria as a result of the war in Ukraine.
1,100 people are accommodated in state and municipal bases, and 2,500 people in hotels. 


Bulgarian authorities are making an analysis of the available hotel facilities and municipal and state accommodation bases where refugees can be accommodated.
