The head of the government headquarters for refugees, Colonel Valeri Rachev, resigned on Wednesday night, bTV reported. The government has not commented on the news. Rachev also refrained from commenting, BGNES reported.

The headquarters is responsible for the evacuation of Ukrainian refugees and providing them with shelter.
