“We are in a situation of “heightened vigilance”, as are all NATO countries. Many of the military units have more shift duty, there are more army exercises. Deputy Minister Bozhilov stated further that the only way the war in Ukraine can end is with the withdrawal of Russia. Otherwise it will be a protracted war.
“Russia must go back to the principles of international law. Anything else bodes long-lasting instability in the region and poses a threat to Bulgaria,” Yordan Bozhilov said and ruled out the possibility of Russia winning the war.
