Writer Georgi Gospodinov presented in Burgas one of his less known works entitled “The Cracks of the Canon”. It is divided into two parts. The second part of the book is devoted to themes such as memory, sorrow and memories. These themes provoked the author to explore in detail the banknotes that are still in circulation. His work is remarkable, because the writer manages to study the message of the texts immortalized on the banknotes and answers why exactly these texts were selected.
