Today, July 9, the Community Center “Niva 1898” in the village of Balvan, Veliko Tarnovo district, hosts the traditional Banitsa Festival named “Banitsa on Weekdays and Holidays”. Undoubtedly, banitsa is the most popular Bulgarian pastry meal.
Each Bulgarian region makes banitsa in a different way. That is why different varieties of this favorite delicacy will be presented all day long.
